In the morning we begin our day with visit of Ajloun, through the pine forests and olive groves until we reach the city of Ajloun and the Castle of Saladin. More formally known as Qalaat er-Rabad, it is the major ancient site within the Ajloun forests region overlooking the Jordan Valley,
We will go to view the Jordan Valley from the famous Mount Nebo, visiting its Byzantine Church. Then transfer to Kerak, which lies about 150 km south of Amman and is famous for its Crusader Fortress in the center, with underground galleries, rooms and secret passageways, and its thick defensive walls pierced by narrow arrow slits, where Crusader archers held out bravely but in vain for over 100 years.
Then visit the Battle of Moata site, and we drive to Al-Mazar Al-Janoubi (or Southern Al-Mazar) to visit the shrines of the Prophet Mohammad’s companions:
(Jaafar Ibn Abi Taleb, Zayd Ben Harethah, Abdallah Ben Rawaha).
